The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the planning and paint selection process. The work was well organized and completed on schedule. It’s been a few months and the cabinets look as great today as they did when they were first painted.

Another well-done job! We had engaged Ed (Beacon Painting) for two interior painting projects in 2013 and 2015. He quoted meticulously and fairly. He and his crew are passionate professionals. True to form, this month’s $5.5K exterior painting project turned out beautifully.

Ed Norris clearly cares about doing a great job. He gave good advice and used quality materials with a lot of attention to detail. I appreciated the respect and professionalism with which he treated his crew. He always responded to phone calls and texts promptly. The painting crew was careful and professional in their attitude. They showed concern for the plantings around the house. At the end of the job there were a few very minor areas that needed touch-up for drips or areas that needed an additional coat. I sent the list and the crew was here again within days to make all the fixes, with no suggestion of a problem. In all, this was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor in recent memory.

Ed and his team were a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job. The exterior condition of our house was terrible. We had several very high quotes and people who were unwilling to take it on at all. Ed was not intimidated, gave us a lot of great advice, worked with our challenging timetable, and completely the work for a very reasonable total. We would strongly recommend him to anyone.

They came earlier than expected but that was fine. Their work is very professional, work quietly, neatly and clean up each day. They had good suggestions on how I could do things more easily. Beacon had painted the exterior of the house before and it had held up so well that only one small north facing section needed touching up.

This was an A+ project as far as I was concerned. The owner, Ed Norris came out to estimate the work and took the time to understand the details and communicate to me what needed to be done. The crew appeared on schedule and remained on site until the work was complete working long days. Ed came by each day to monitor progress, make sure I was satisfied and also to make sure the crew had what they needed to continue progressing. As a result the work was completed on schedule and to high quality. The crew also was very clean leaving no paint drips on the windows, foundation, etc. I would definitely hire Beacon again.

Beacon Painting had 3 crews working on the project at various times and some days all 3 were here together. I found Beacon to be a very professional productive painting contractor at both management and labor levels. Each painter seemed experienced and able to anticipate what they had to do to prep, paint, and clean up afterward. They brought issues to my attention in a timely manner. This enabled me to make a decision, sometimes with input from others, and to maintain their productivity. Their quality throughout was excellent. The owner/manager was always aware of what we needed, what they were doing, and what was scheduled to happen, was available to me by text/phone, and maintained sufficient contact with each crew. Each crew had an experienced foreman with varying degrees of fluency in English. I was able to communicate with each crew when necessary. When changes to the original scope of work occurred, the adjustments to the price quoted seemed very fair. Those changes always happen on a job like this. We have used Beacon Painting at least twice over the last 12 years and we expect use them next time we need painting done.

Great service, great price! The owner was able to schedule us at a time that worked really well for us. The painters were very nice and easy to work with. The work was professional and high quality. Overall, great experience!

Ed Norris and his crew were great to deal with. Ed’s initial visit where he looked at the work to be done and provided me with an estimate was thorough and comprehensive. He took the time to explain what was entailed in the job in detail which made me feel like I knew exactly what I was paying for. The team that he sent to do the work was excellent. The work was beautifully done and Pedro and Sergio were both professional and very pleasant to deal with. The cleanup they did when they left was also impressive. I am planning on using Beacon Painting again this fall for some interior work that I need to have done. I highly recommend them.

Ed and his staff provided two coats of paint to eight rooms of our home. We were surprised by the estimated cost, but was willing to pay for the quality work. He is our “go to” guy for painting and will probably engage his company for exterior painting in the future.

Ed assessed condition of wood. Referred me to a wood rot specialist who replaced rotted wood and made a couple of improvements I requested. Ed’s people came back and painted and stained after power washing and cleaning vinyl siding. I have used Beacon in the past and would use them again.
